Head Of Psychology And Sociology at Christ The King Sixth Forms

Melisa Ogundare has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Youth Counsellor and later as a Senior Youth Counsellor at Next Generation Ministries from 2016 to 2017. Melisa then worked as a Youth Support Worker at HELP HANDZ LTD in 2018 and as a London Youth Games Volunteer Basketball Coach in 2019. In the same year, they also served as a Drill Instructor at Next Generation Ministries. From 2016 to 2020, Melisa worked at City of Westminster College, initially as a Health and Social Care Lecturer and Course Tutor, then as a Vocational Studies (Fresh Start) Lead Teacher, and finally as the Health and Social Care Course Manager. Melisa founded Education Passport UK in 2020 and subsequently became the Head of Psychology and Sociology at Christ The King Sixth Forms in 2023. Additionally, Melisa has acquired several certifications apart from their formal education. In July 2022, they got certified as a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. In September 2014, they obtained the De-escalation and Restraint Training Qualification: Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA) from the Crisis Prevention Institute. Furthermore, in May 2010, they completed Basketball Coaching Level 1 and Basketball Officiating Level 1 from Basketball England.
