Michael Savas

Michael Savas is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th Grade Humanities Teacher and In-House Permanent Substitute Teacher at Christa McAuliffe Charter School since September 2016. Prior to this role, Savas worked as a substitute teacher at Somerville Public Schools and North Reading Public Schools in early 2017. Previously, from February 2006 to June 2014, Savas managed technical support operations at Saba, overseeing teams and establishing relationships with partners. Earlier experience includes roles at Centra Software as a support manager and client support engineer, and at Fidelity Investments in brokerage services. Savas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an Associate’s Degree in Video and Film Production from Full Sail University, and a Certificate in UNIX/C/C++ Programming from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
