Chloe Ashford's work experience includes serving as a Security Team Lead at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) since August 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Trade Me as an Information Security and Compliance Manager from April 2021 to August 2023, and as a Security Assurance Practice Lead from November 2019 to April 2021. Chloe also worked at Quantum Security Services (New Zealand) as a Senior Security Consultant from June 2019 to November 2019, and as a Security Consultant from October 2017 to June 2019. Their early work experience includes an internship as a Risk Consultant at Deloitte from July 2017 to October 2017.
Chloe Ashford has a Master of Information Technology degree from The University of Waikato, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Chloe also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology from The University of Auckland, obtained in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma for Graduates in Business Management from the University of Otago between 2013 and 2014. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology, completed from 2011 to 2013 at the University of Otago. In terms of additional certifications, Chloe obtained the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2019.
