Dave Robson has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and sectors. Dave began their career as a Police Officer with the NZ Police in 1996 and served in this role until 2006. From there, they joined the NZ Transport Agency in various managerial positions, including Manager Certification and Compliance, Manager Planning and Performance, and Manager Group Business Planning & Strategy, Access & Use Group. Dave worked at the NZ Transport Agency from 2006 to 2014. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Manager Rail Safety at the NZ Transport Agency, where they served until 2017. Dave then joined the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as the National Manager Building Code, a position they held until 2021. Most recently, they have been working at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) as the Director of Gambling and is currently serving as the Project Director for the Electronic Monitoring System.
Dave Robson obtained a Graduate Diploma in Management, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, where they studied from 2009 to 2012.
