Nicola Potter

Nicola Potter has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as a Customer Services Representative at Inland Revenue NZ. Nicola then joined the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) in 2007 as a Flying Squad Officer. Over the years, Nicola worked in various roles within the department, including igovt identity verification service Coordinator, Business Support Officer, Advisor, Senior Advisor, and Manager. Nicola'smost recent positions include Principal Advisor, Partners and Products and Senior Product Owner.

Nicola Potter's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from Massey University, which was obtained from 2003 to 2005. Nicola also earned two national certificates in business administration and computing, one at level 3 and another at level 4, from Learning State Limited in 2011. In 2017, they obtained a national certificate in fitness (exercise consultant) at level 3 from Skills Active Aotearoa Limited. Additionally, they completed the New Zealand Certificate in Te Reo (Reo Rua) Levels 1 & 2 in 2020 and Levels 3 & 4 in 2022 from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. In terms of additional certifications, Nicola obtained the ICAgile Certified Professional ICP from Nomad8 in 2015, as well as the ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Project Management (ICP-APM) from ICAgile in 2015.
