Ali Adams

Ali Adams currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at ChristchurchNZ since February 2022. Prior to this role, Ali held various positions at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise from July 2012 to February 2022, including NZ Story Consulting Lead and Consul General of Germany/Regional Director for Europe, where leadership involved overseeing a team of over 40 individuals and assisting 200 New Zealand exporters across multiple European countries. Additional experience includes roles as Customer Director and Customer Manager, focusing on export strategy development for numerous companies, as well as serving on the Board of Canterbury Cricket Association from October 2016 to February 2018 and as Product Manager at New Zealand Cricket from 2008 to 2012. Early career experience includes communications management at CDHB and marketing management at Unilever. Ali holds a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from St Catharines College, Cambridge.
