Leslie Evans Kaplan

Leslie Evans Kaplan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in administrative support, non-profit management, and animal welfare advocacy. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to Ms. Emily Masengale at Christel House Indianapolis since November 2019, Leslie has also authored "Kahilah's Journey...The Reward For Never Giving Up Hope" since 2017. As the Founder and President of Plainfield Lost and Found Pets, Leslie established a community group to support lost pet recovery efforts. Additionally, Leslie has volunteered with ARPO and Indianapolis Animal Care & Control, providing foster care and other support for animals. Previous roles include Office Manager at Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana, Program Assistant at Community Action of Greater Indianapolis, and various marketing and administrative positions at Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana and State Farm Insurance. Leslie holds a Certified Professional Secretary designation and possesses a high school diploma in Business.
