Jared Bates

Jared Bates has extensive experience in the field of graphic design and creative direction. Jared currently works as a Creative Director at Christensen, Inc. since July 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Graphic Designer at Lourdes Health from January 2010 to June 2019. In this role, Jared was responsible for creating external and internal communications through various mediums. Jared also managed two rebranding campaigns and maintained the company's Intranet. Preceding their position at Lourdes Health, Jared worked at Vivid Learning Systems as a Print Manager/Senior Graphic Designer from February 2004 to December 2009. Their responsibilities included managing a creative and development team, handling client interactions, and overseeing print materials from concept to completion. Notably, they worked with major clients such as Franklin County, Energy Northwest, and Goodwill. Jared also served as a Senior Designer at Artmil from January 2002 to February 2004, where they conceptualized and designed marketing projects and coordinated pre-press and design work for Press Craft. Lastly, they gained experience as a Graphic Designer at Valpak from October 2000 to January 2002, where they designed monthly advertising mailings and collaborated with local businesses.

Jared Bates attended Brigham Young University from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Visual Arts with a focus on Graphic Design and Typography. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1995, they attended Bellevue College and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree, majoring in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities.
