Every hide has its own grain, weight, and character. Knowing how to read it — and cut around it — is a skill that takes years to develop. At Christia, it has been passed down since 1968.

We are a luxury outerwear manufacturer based in Colceresa, in the heart of the Veneto district. Our specialisation is shearling and fine leather — women's and men's — produced entirely through a network of artisan craftspeople we have worked with for decades, under direct supervision and to standards we define and verify on every sample and production run.

What makes Christia distinct is not volume — it is judgement. We select every pelt by hand: small, lightweight skins with a soft, luminous fleece that is natural enough to be unmistakably real. We design for reversibility, extreme lightness, and the kind of quiet detail — flat invisible seams, hand-finished embroidery — that the right customer recognises without being told to look for it.

Our most recent co-branded collection was developed with Japan's most credible menswear educator — a buyer, author and publisher with over 2 million books in print — who visited our workshop before agreeing to put his name on the product. The collection sold exclusively in Japan.
