Thomas DePalma is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and athletics. Currently serving as a Classroom Teacher at Christian Brothers Academy Albany since July 2017, Thomas previously held teaching positions in the Guilderland Central School District and Mekeel Christian Academy, specializing in social studies. Prior roles included Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University at Albany, where collaboration occurred with varsity sports teams, and coaching at Albany Crossfit. Thomas's fitness expertise is further supported by a background as a Personal Trainer at Latitude Sports Clubs and certification as NSCA-CPT. Academically, Thomas holds a Master's Degree in Adolescent Education from The College of Saint Rose and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University at Albany.

Christian Brothers Academy, a college preparatory Catholic school in the Lasallian tradition, provides young men in grades five through twelve with a balanced education through challenging academic and broad co-curricular programs in a safe, faith-filled environment. CBA is located in Albany near the Albany International Airport on a 126-acre campus built in 1998. CBA is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents, the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The high school JROTC program was named an Honor Unit With Distinction by the United States Department of the Army.
