Dena Willmann Ms

Dena Willmann MS, LPC, NCC has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dena Willmann'smost recent position was as Clinical Director at WLCFS-Christian Family Solutions, where they provided on-site high school-based mental health services and specialized in Eating Disorder Recovery, HAES, and Intuitive Eating. Prior to this role, they worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor at the same organization, where they also provided outpatient telehealth services.

Dena Willmann also worked as a Counselor at Moraine Park Technical College, where they provided personal and academic support to current students and engaged in collaboration, consultation, and outreach.

Dena has a long tenure at Rogers Memorial Hospital, starting as a Psychiatric Technician where they provided patient care to children and adolescents. Dena Willmann then became an Intake Specialist, completing screenings and collaborating with psychiatrists for treatment recommendations. Later, they took on the role of a Professional Counselor, providing therapy to the adolescent eating disorder inpatient unit and working with various populations in both inpatient and residential programs.

Dena Willmann has also worked as a Licensed Psychotherapist at Synergos Counseling and as a Counseling Intern at University Health and Counseling Services- UW-Whitewater, where they provided individual therapy, facilitated group therapy, and conducted outreach events for students.

Additionally, Dena has experience as a Practicum Counselor at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, where they provided individual, group, and family therapy. Dena Willmann also previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Beverly Terrace and as a Health Promotions Intern at the Arthritis Foundation. Dena Willmann started their career as a Patient Care Assistant on the Psychiatric Unit at Columbia St. Mary's.

Dena Willmann obtained their Master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, from 2001 to 2003. In 2000 to 2001, Dena attended Wisconsin Lutheran College, studying Communication.
