Kristen deRoo Vanderberg has a strong background in communications and marketing. Kristen started their career in 1999 as a Communications Coordinator at Christian Reformed World Relief Committee, where they worked until 2006. Kristen then joined World Renew as a Communications Manager, where they managed internal and external communications until 2016. In 2016, Kristen became the Director of Communications & Marketing at Christian Reformed Church in North America, where they provide leadership and strategy for the communications and marketing of the denomination.
Kristen deRoo Vanderberg completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with minors in French and Religion, from Calvin University. Kristen attended the university from 1995 to 1999.
