Steve Holtrop

Steve Holtrop is currently a Trustee at CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL. Steve has over 30 years of experience in education, including as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Iowa, an English and Journalism Teacher at Unity Christian High School, and an English Teacher at Westminster Christian High School. Steve has won awards for their teaching and has been responsible for producing newsletters for stakeholders. Steve is committed to providing quality Christian education and is an advocate for students and families.

Steve Holtrop received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Secondary Education Curriculum and Instruction (English Education) from the University of Iowa. Steve also holds a Master's Degree from the University of Iowa in English Education and Journalism Education. Their undergraduate degree is from Purdue University in English. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Bible & Religion from Calvin University.
