Bettina Tweardy Riveros

Bettina Tweardy Riveros, J.D., currently serves as the Chief Public Affairs Officer, Chief Health Equity Officer, and Senior Vice President at ChristianaCare since January 2016. With extensive experience in health policy and community engagement, Bettina previously held positions including Chief Health Equity Officer and Senior Vice President at the Delaware Health Care Commission from September 2010 to December 2015. Additional roles include Chair of the Delaware Health Information Network, Senior Health Policy Advisor for the Office of Governor Jack Markell, and Board Member of the Delaware Health Resources Board. Bettina's earlier career includes serving as Deputy Counsel to the Governor of Delaware and an Associate Attorney at Morris James LLP. Bettina holds a J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Communications from Juniata College.
