Tim Bowers

Tim Bowers, MS CIC FAPIC CPHQ, is a seasoned healthcare executive currently serving as Corporate Director Information Services Clinical EHR and Vice President Clinical Effectiveness at ChristianaCare since August 2019. In this senior leadership role, Tim oversees patient safety, infection prevention, accreditation, and safety officer functions. Previously, Tim held leadership positions including Director of Infection Prevention at Richmond University Medical Center and Vice President of Performance Improvement at Inspira Health Network, where efforts focused on enhancing quality and patient safety programs across various facilities. Tim also contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at Cumberland County College and demonstrated significant achievements in infection control as an Infection Control Practitioner at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Health Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
