Alice Banfield

Alice Banfield is a Senior Researcher and Policy Analyst at Christians Against Poverty NZ since February 2021, with extensive experience in humanitarian and community development. Previously, Alice served as an Independent Consultant, worked as a Humanitarian Specialist at Tearfund New Zealand, and held various roles including Programme Quality Manager and Area Manager at World Vision in Vanuatu and Solomon Islands. Alice's academic qualifications include a Master's in International and Community Development from Deakin University and several degrees focused on Māori language and psychology. Key highlights of Alice's professional journey include leading significant evaluations and disaster responses, such as Cyclone Pam and Cyclone Winston.
