Freddy Gathorne Hardy is a British business consultant and commercial due diligence specialist. Freddy is currently the Managing Director at Christies Care.

Hardy began their career as a scientific researcher at the University of Sheffield, where they researched the environmental impact of the first humans to arrive on the Faroe Islands and Iceland. Freddy then took on a research fellowship at Bournemouth University, conducting research into the historical ecology of Iceland and the Faroe Islands while also teaching undergraduate students.

In 2007, Hardy became a consultant at Lighthouse Global, where they worked on strategies to improve clients' relationships with their clients and help them become more client-centric in their outlook. Freddy also ran Commercial Due Dilligence projects for private equity buyers. Hardy left Lighthouse Global in 2009 to join Christies Care.

Freddy Gathorne Hardy's educational career includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology, Evolution, Systematics, and Population Biology from King's College London, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Durham University.
