Ava Gal is an accomplished image editing professional with extensive experience in the art and technology of digital retouching and graphic design. Currently serving as Image Editing Manager at Christie's since September 2017, Ava has been with Christie's Auction House since April 2006, progressing through various roles including Creative Image Editing Manager and Senior Retoucher. Ava's diverse background includes freelance work as a digital retoucher and image editor at multiple prestigious organizations, alongside earlier positions in graphic design and photography. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, French Literature, and Studio Art from Hunter College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Animation Film from New Bulgarian University, complemented by training in photography and digital arts.
