Daphné Riou

Daphné Riou has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Daphné began their career at Deloitte as an Audit professional in 2007 and then moved to Canal+ as an Audit & Finance Project Manager in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an Administrative & Finance Project Manager at Louvre Abu Dhabi through AGENCE FRANCE - MUSEUMS. Following this, they joined Christie's in 2010 and worked as an Intern in the Impressionist & Modern Art Department and later as a Coordination for 20th century Design sale. Riou then worked at Galerie Maubert as a Gallery Manager in 2012 and simultaneously served as a Consultant at AlfaLima RH. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at Christie's as a Cataloguer for Arts Décoratifs du XXème siècle & Design. Riou then joined Sotheby's in 2012 and held various roles such as Junior Specialist, Associate Specialist, Specialist, and Specialist & Head of Sale for 20th Century Design. Daphné returned to Christie's in 2018 as a Specialist and ultimately became the Head of Department and Senior Specialist for Design in the Americas.

Daphné Riou attended HEC Paris from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a field of study in Media, Art & Creation. Daphné then enrolled in Ecole du Louvre in 2009 and completed their 1st cycle degree. Prior to that, Daphné Riou attended Lycée Henri IV from 2000 to 2005.
