Michelle Cheng

Michelle Cheng is a seasoned art professional with extensive experience in the Chinese works of art sector. Currently serving as Senior Specialist and VP at Christie's since December 2011, Cheng has consigned over $15 million in 2021 and excels in business development, client advisory, and sales strategies. Prior to this role, Cheng was a VP and Specialist in Chinese Ceramics & Works of Art at Context Travel, where innovative walking tours were developed, and served as Gallery Manager at The Chinese Porcelain Company, managing various administrative and logistical tasks. Earlier experience includes a managerial position at Ethan Cohen Fine Arts. Cheng holds a Master's degree in Art History from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in History from UCLA.
