Simon James

Simon James has over two decades of experience in human resources, currently serving as HR Director for EMEA at Christie's since April 2006, where responsibilities include acting as a global HR partner for key revenue-generating Specialist Art Departments and providing strategic organizational development and talent strategy support. Previous roles at Christie's include HR Business Partner for Hong Kong & Asia, focusing on strategic support during global departmental reviews and restructuring. Prior experience includes managing a team of 18 HR professionals at EMERI, along with various HR roles at Cancer Research UK, BMW Group, and Marks and Spencer. Simon James holds an MA in Personnel & Development from the University of Westminster, a BA in Business from Buckinghamshire New University, and an HND in Business & Finance from Bournemouth University.
