Rex Marco

Rex Marco currently serves as the Chief Medical Ambassador for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation since August 2021 and holds the position of Vice Chairman and Chief of Reconstructive Spine Surgery and Orthopaedic Oncology at Houston Methodist since January 2015. Prior to these roles, Rex Marco was a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2005 to 2014 and worked as an Assistant Professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center from August 2000 to July 2002. Rex Marco's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine, along with extensive training at various prestigious institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute-National Institutes of Health.
