Bobby Woollum

Bobby Woollum serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Administration at Christopher Newport University since November 2019. In addition, Bobby has held transitional project-based roles with the City of Newport News starting in March 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Key Account Manager at VICIS, Inc., where management of sales and distribution in the East contributed to the introduction of innovative football helmets. Bobby excelled as a Senior Sales Executive at Russell Athletic, managing over 80 accounts and generating $2.7 million in the Mid-Atlantic territory. Earlier in career, Bobby was the Assistant Men’s College Basketball Coach at Western Carolina University, overseeing recruiting and player management. Education was obtained from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.
