Kelly Scallion

Kelly Scallion is an experienced professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Admission at Christopher Newport University since October 2008. In this role, responsibilities include managing merit scholarship reviews, reviewing admission applications, leading application review teams, and representing the university at college fairs in Virginia and North Carolina. Scallion also oversees the Admission Welcome Center. Previous experience includes working as a CSR/Teller at Chesapeake Bank, a Specialist Presenter at Wyndham Vacation Resorts, and a University Tour Guide at Christopher Newport University, where duties involved public speaking and office support. Additionally, Kelly has a background in theatre education, having taught various workshops at HATTheatre, Inc. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Christopher Newport University, completed in 2007.
