Patricia Burgoon

Patricia "Patty" Burgoon has extensive experience in event planning and coordination, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Scheduling Events and Conferences at Christopher Newport University since July 2011. Prior roles include Buyer Services Manager and Assistant Show Director at The Rosen Group, where responsibilities involved negotiating hotel contracts, coordinating logistics for large trade shows, and managing staff. Burgoon has also held positions at Engineering Systems Solutions, Guilford College, and Greensboro College, generating expertise in conference management, student affairs, and administrative support. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and French from Greensboro College.
