Sarah S. King

Sarah S. King currently serves as a Faculty Lecturer teaching economics at Christopher Newport University since August 2023, covering courses such as Principles of Macroeconomics, The Economic Way of Thinking, and Urban Economics. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Instructor at Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, where courses taught spanned from Principles of Macroeconomics to Economics of Cities. Additionally, Sarah S. King has been involved in research initiatives with Georgia Policy Labs, focusing on COVID-19 learning loss, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Experimental Economics Center. Earlier experience includes tutoring mathematics at the Middle Georgia Center for Academic Excellence, working as a writing tutor at Mercer University, and serving as a Unit Counselor for the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. Sarah S. King holds a PhD in Economics from Georgia State University, along with an MA and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from the same institution and Mercer University, respectively.
