Irene Villar

Irene Villar has a long and varied work experience in the fashion industry. Irene began their career in 2007 as an Intern at Showroom Seven/Seventh House PR. In 2008, they moved to Bloomingdale's where they held the roles of Senior Assistant Merchandise Manager and Assistant Merchandise Manager. In 2010, Irene became an Assistant Designer at Veda. Irene then joined Ulla Johnson Inc in 2011 as a Senior Product Manager and Designer, and then as a Senior Design and Production Associate. In 2016, Irene was hired as a Senior Designer at Dutch, LLC dba Joie, Current/Elliott and Equipment. Irene then moved to The Collected Group in 2018 as a Design Director. In 2021, Irene became a Design Consultant, and in 2022 they were hired as a Design Director at Christy Dawn.

Irene Villar attended Georgetown University from 2003 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Culture and Politics. Irene then attended Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2008 to 2011 and earned a degree in Fashion Studies with a focus in Fashion Design and Merchandising.
