Jim Long

Jim Long has extensive experience in cybersecurity and information technology, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Global Head of Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Management at C.H. Robinson since January 2008. Long's expertise encompasses global information security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT audit. Prior to this role, Long held various positions within C.H. Robinson, including IT Manager and Project Manager focused on IT infrastructure and audit. Long's earlier career includes roles as a Technology Administrator at SPS Commerce, Technical Operations Lead at Control Data, and Network Engineer, where responsibilities included installing and configuring fiber and Ethernet networks. Jim Long holds educational qualifications from Augsburg University and the University of Minnesota.
