Joseph Benson

Joseph Benson is an accomplished data scientist and academic with significant experience in mathematics and geometry. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at C.H. Robinson since January 2021, Joseph previously held the position of Visiting Professor at Macalester College from August 2017 to August 2020, where research focused on symmetry methods, geometric flows, and differential geometry, resulting in three co-authored publications. Prior to this, Joseph was a Visiting Assistant Professor at St. Olaf College from September 2014 to August 2017, conducting research on curve flows and geometry, culminating in two authored or co-authored publications. Joseph holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, along with a master's degree from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Grinnell College.
