Michael Chmutov is a Data Scientist at C.H. Robinson, where they progressed from Senior Data Scientist to Manager of Data Science and Lead Data Scientist between 2021 and 2023. They previously held a NSF Postdoctoral position at the University of Minnesota from 2014 to 2018, where they conducted research in Algebraic Combinatorics and taught various mathematics courses. Michael also served as a consultant at CyberOptics in 2018, focusing on implementing research methods and training models. They earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and hold a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
