Rob Coburn has worked at two companies, Chromalox and Keyence.
At Chromalox, they started in 2008 as an Application Engineer Specialist, where they worked closely with customers to develop product design specifications and estimated product costs. Rob also managed projects to improve operations and profitability. In 2010, they became the Global Product Manager for Industrial and Process Air Heating. In 2016, they were promoted to Director of Industrial Air & Component Heating. Most recently, in March 2021, they assumed the position of Director of Product Lifecycle Management.
At Keyence, they worked as a Sales Engineer from May 2005 to August 2006.
Rob Coburn completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in the years 1999 to 2004. Rob further pursued their education at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, where they obtained their MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they earned a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh - Swanson School of Engineering in the years 2010 to 2012.
In terms of certifications, Rob Coburn received the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the University of Pittsburgh in August 2010. Furthermore, they acquired several certifications from LinkedIn, including User Experience (UX) for Non-Designers in October 2020, Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management in August 2020, Agile Foundations in July 2020, and Agile New Product Development for Manufacturers in July 2020.
