Thiago Millen

Thiago Millen has had a diverse range of work experience in the biotechnology industry. Thiago is currently working as the Associate Director of Process Development at ChromaTan, Inc, where they lead a team in optimizing purification strategies for biologics. Prior to this, they were a Lead Scientist at the Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing, where they conducted early-phase development in cell/gene therapy, viral vectors, and monoclonal antibodies. Thiago also served as a Senior Scientist at Celltheon Corporation, where they led the downstream and analytical department and developed purification strategies for antibodies and other recombinant proteins. Additionally, Thiago has worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Process Scientist, at Hygeia Biotech as a Research Associate, and at EDB Biotechnology as a Researcher. Thiago also has experience working as an independent Biotechnology Consultant and as a Scholar at CEDERJ. Overall, Thiago's work experience encompasses a wide range of roles and responsibilities in process development, purification, analytics, and research.

Thiago Millen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Science with a field of study in Biochemistry from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Thiago pursued further education and completed a Master's degree (M.S.) in Biological Chemistry from the same university.
