Bart Engendahl has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Bart began their career as a PHD Candidate in Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University, where they conducted research on catalysis on biomass derived substrates and developed catalysts and biomass chemistry. In 2011, they moved to the University of St Andrews as a Post Doc Chemie, and then to DSM as a Scientist and Associate Scientist. In 2015, they joined GFBiochemicals as a Senior Scientist, and was responsible for the development and improvement of levulinic acid derivatives. In 2017, they became Co-Founder and CTO of remooble, a company set out to solve the problem of toxic products that don't work. In 2019, they took on multiple roles, including Managing Director Chromatic 3D Materials Gmb, Business Development Manager at Visolis, Inc., and Manufacturer Representative at Activated Research Company.
Bart Engendahl attended RWTH Aachen University from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Diplom in Chemie. From 2005 to 2006, they completed a Forschungspraktikum at Nagoya University in the field of Organometallic Chemistry Prof. Tatzumi.
