João Cardoso

João Cardoso has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. João currently works as a Developer Experience Engineer at Chromatic. Prior to this, they held the role of a .NET Developer at if else Caeiro & Moleirinho Consultoria Informática, where they developed a WebService using Microsoft WCF and Ado.NET Entity Framework. João also worked on an application using the WPF framework and the MVVM architectural pattern. Before that, João worked at Novabase Consulting as a SysAdmin/Adobe Flex Developer, where they developed components for a Rich Internet Application using Adobe Flex, MySQL, and Alfresco Document Management Systems. João also gained experience in Apache Server and Zend Framework. In the early years of their career, they worked at KEMET Electronics Corporation as a .NET Developer, where they developed production supervisory systems using .NET Framework and Oracle/SQL Server database management systems. João also developed quality control systems for the production line areas.

João Cardoso completed their Licentiate degree in Engenharia Informática from Universidade de Évora, spanning from 2012 to 2018. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued a Full stack Web Development Certification at freeCodeCamp, specializing in Engenharia de Software. Additionally, they obtained the Certified PHC FX Support certification from PHC in February 2013.
