Ioannis (John) Kymissis

Ioannis (John) Kymissis has a long and varied work experience. Ioannis (John) began their career in 1998 as a Postdoctoral Associate and Graduate Student at MIT. In 2005, they became a Senior Engineer/Consultant at QD Vision, Inc. Ioannis (John) then moved to Columbia University in 2006, where they held the role of Kenneth Brayer Professor of Electrical Engineering. In 2011, they co-founded and became CTO of Chromation. Ioannis (John) then went on to become Co-founder and Scientific Advisor of Radiator Labs in 2012, as well as Member of the Technical Advisory Board at Udacomm. Ioannis (John) was also Editor in Chief of the Society for Information Display in the same year. In 2013, they co-founded and acted as CEO of Lumiode, Inc., and in 2020, they co-founded and became a Scientific Advisor at Lelantos.

Ioannis (John) Kymissis attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1994 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science, Master of Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
