Miri Park

Founder, Board Member & COO at Chromis Fiberoptics

Before founding Chromis, Miri was responsible at OFS Laboratories for the construction and operation of the plastic optical fiber measurement facility, including test apparatus design and product databases. At Agere Systems and Lucent Technology, Miri led production yield optimization and process development teams for optoelectronic communication products such as photo detectors and lasers. She also managed design, control and verification activities to support the launch of new photo-detector products. At the Physics Department and Material Institute of Princeton University, she developed novel nano-fabrication technology using self-assembly patterns of block-copolymers.

Miri is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization. She was featured in Women in AV and CNN Money, and was on a panel at the Propelify Festival hosted by New Jersey’s First Lady Tammy Murphy.

Miri has authored and co-authored numerous technical publications on plastic optical fiber and laser communication devices, block co-polymers, nanotechnology, device processing, and low-temperature physics.

She received her Ph.D. (Experimental Applied Physics), M.S. (Applied and Engineering Physics), and B.S. (Applied and Engineering Physics) degrees from Cornell University.
