Gerit Tolborg

Gerit Tolborg is the current CEO of Chromologics. Gerit has a PhD from the Technical University of Denmark, where their research focused on developing fermentation processes for stable production of natural colorants using fungal cell factories. Gerit also has a master's degree from the Technical University of Denmark, where their thesis focused on morphology studies of Aspergillus niger via batch cultivation and microscopy analysis. Tolborg also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Calgary, where they studied the effect of fluid dynamics on the uptake of nanoparticles by endothelial cells.

Gerit Tolborg's educational career includes completing a Management Acceleration Program (MAP) at INSEAD, as well as a Dipl-Ing. in Biotechnology from Technische Universität Berlin. Gerit also has certification from INSEAD in Executive Education in the Management Acceleration Programme, as well as Coursera Course Certificates in How to Validate your Startup Idea.
