Hilary Merlin, MEd, is a Professional Development Specialist at the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) since December 2021. Prior to this, Hilary served as a Training and Communications Specialist at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University from October 2016 to December 2021, where over 30 training sessions for the public health workforce were produced annually and communications were managed for a subscriber base exceeding 13,000. Hilary's previous roles include Interim Project Director and Field Organizer for the American Lung Association, Program Coordinator at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Health Services Manager at Tompkins Community Action Head Start, Project Manager at Ithaca College, and Health Educator at the University of Georgia. Hilary holds a Master of Education in Health Education and Promotion from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies/Health Activism from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
