Machine Learning Engineer at Chronograph

Alexander Jiao has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Alexander began as a Research Assistant at the Human Computer Interaction lab in 2015. In 2016, they took on the role of Senior Lab Manager at the University of Maryland, Terrapin Works, where they worked on design projects for various customers involving embedded systems and PCB design, provided high quality laser cutting and 3D printing services, and fixed printers and managed lab space. In 2017, they were an Engineering Intern at Motiva Enterprises LLC, where they performed data analysis to optimize vapor system performance, managed installation of Fiber Optic Communication Networks, and prepared Investment Proposals, Purchase Orders, Level 3 Schedules, Detailed Budgets and Designs. In 2018, they were an Undergrad Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Computational Sensorimotor Systems Lab, and also held a Cyber Intern role at Deloitte, where they performed Cyber Reconnaissance for a large Federal Healthcare Agency, built a modular data centralization model, and assisted in writing a network sensor maintenance guide. From 2019 to present, Alexander has been a Senior Consultant and Data Scientist at Deloitte. Alexander is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at Chronograph.

Alexander Jiao completed their high school education at Richard Montgomery High School from 2011 to 2015. Alexander then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland, which they completed in 2019. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021: AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty in April and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in March.
