Dr. Eva Jürgens

Dr. Eva Jürgens is a highly experienced professional in the field of silicone chemistry, currently serving as the Head of Research & Development Silicones at CHT Group since May 2017. In this role, Dr. Jürgens leads teams through complex projects, focusing on customer-centric solutions and global technology integration. Prior experience includes leadership positions such as Groupleader Technical Service for Silicone Elastomers and Teamleader in R&D for Silicone Chemistry, where Dr. Jürgens oversaw product development and technology management. Dr. Jürgens began a career as a Project Chemist at Sohena GmbH and worked as a Research Scientist at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, where a PhD thesis was completed on organometallic synthesis and homogeneous catalysis. Dr. Jürgens holds a Doctor of Science and a Diplom Chemist degree in Chemistry from the University of Tübingen.
