Jean Duchateau

Jean Duchateau has an extensive career in immunology, holding the title of Prof émérite d'Immunologie at ULB since April 1987. Responsibilities include consulting at both CHU Brugmann and ULB in areas such as pediatric research, clinical immunology, and immuno-allergology, as well as directing multiple departments and laboratories within CHU Brugmann. Additionally, Jean serves as a scientific consultant and board member at ASIT Biotech s.a. since 2016, contributing to the advancement of clinical and biological immunology. Prior experience includes leadership roles at CHU St Pierre ULB from 1981 to 1993, overseeing clinical immunology and transfusion services. Education was pursued at various institutions, culminating at the Athénée Royal de Léopoldville and others between 1955 and 1961.
