Sunith Roy

Sunith Roy currently serves as CTO of Core Platform Engineering and Head of Architecture, Advanced Engineering, and Core Platforms at Chubb since January 2020, where responsibilities include defining technology strategy and multi-year roadmaps for Underwriting, Integration, and API Platforms. Prior to this role, Sunith was the Global Chief Architect at HSBC from November 2016 to December 2019, leading global application architecture and engineering, as well as overseeing the bank’s digital transformation and cloud strategy. Sunith’s earlier experience includes serving as CTO at Citi, where roles focused on Architecture and Shared Services, and as Chief Architect at Bear Stearns, managing legacy migration and platform development. Sunith began professional career at Cendant, directing the Frameworks and Shared Services team. Sunith holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology.
