Ian Shepler

Ian Shepler is an Industrial Designer currently working at GEMS since May 2023. Prior to this role, Ian served as a Lab Attendant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 2020 to May 2023, assisting in teaching a Concept Sketching class and helping students develop new skills. Ian gained practical experience as an Industrial Design Intern at Tennant Company during the summer of 2022, contributing to the design and development of machines and establishing brand standards. Earlier experience includes an internship at FireFly Computers, where Ian enrolled and repaired Chromebooks, and a role as a Retail Salesperson at ACE Hardware, focusing on customer assistance. Ian holds a degree in Product Design from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2023.
