David Snyder

David Snyder is an experienced GIS/CAD Manager at Chugach Electric Association since April 2016, overseeing CAD and GIS personnel to ensure data integrity and coordinate with Engineering and Operations Departments. Previously, David served as a GIS Analyst/Programmer, focusing on programming tools, maintaining ArcGIS Server, and refining GIS functionality. David is also the author and publisher of "Geography of Southcentral Alaska: Explorations and Explanations of its Landscape," now in its second edition. David's background includes a tenure as a Senior GIS Programmer/Analyst at Resource Data, Inc., and an Adjunct Instructor in Geography at the University of Alaska Anchorage. David's educational credentials include an MS in Geography and a BA in Political Science, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
