Mark Badal

Mark Badal has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and security. Mark currently holds the position of Executive Director of IT and InfoSec at Chumash Enterprises, which they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of IT Security at the same company from July 2021.

Before joining Chumash Enterprises, Mark worked as the Chief Information Officer at IT&E from February 2018 to June 2021. Mark also held the position of General Manager and Chief Information Security Officer at PTI Services Inc dba Transcend IT Solutions from January 2013 to June 2021.

Mark's previous roles include Vice President of Information Technology at Imperial Pacific International Holdings Limited from February 2015 to September 2016, Head of IT and Marketing at Bridge Capital LLC from May 2011 to March 2015, Information Technology Manager and Security System Manager at Spectrum Electric Inc. from September 2010 to May 2011, and Information Technology Director and IT Instructor at International Business and Professional College from January 2008 to September 2010.

Mark Badal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. Paul College. Mark also has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Management from the International Business and Professional College, as well as an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Technology from the same institution. Prior to that, Mark obtained a Technical Diploma in Computer Systems and Networks from the Advance Institute of Technology. Mark completed their earlier education by earning a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Financial Management Accounting from Tarlac State University.

In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained several certifications. Mark is a Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) from The Cyber AB, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA. Mark has also received certifications such as ITIL Practitioner and IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice, CompTIA Project+ and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA, and Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco. Additionally, Mark holds a CompTIA A+ certification and recently obtained the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google.
