Julie Surrett

Julie Surrett currently serves as the Senior IT Application Development Manager at Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I., since October 2023. Prior to this role, Julie held various positions at Northwestern Mutual from June 2005 to October 2023, including Assistant Director of Software Engineering, where leadership extended to over 30 engineers across multiple scrum teams focused on electronic and paper notifications. Julie also served as the Assistant Director of Support Engineering, managing a production support team for client-facing websites and applications. Additional roles included Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Software Engineer, showcasing a robust history in software development and project management. Julie began their career as an IT Developer Intern at P&H Mining Equipment in 2004, focusing on Lotus Notes/Domino and FrontPage development. Julie holds a degree in Management Computer Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, completed in 2005.
