Derek Fricke

Derek Fricke is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in private equity and direct investments. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director and Head of Direct Investments at Churchill Asset Management since January 2020, Fricke has previously held significant roles at TIAA-CREF, including Senior Associate and Director in Private Equity and Mezzanine Finance. Additional experience includes serving as Sr. Director at Nuveen and Senior Associate positions at Chrysalis Ventures and BIA Digital Partners. Fricke began a career in investment banking as an Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Educationally, Fricke holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and completed training at the Venture Capital Institute.
