Lucas Fries

Lucas Fries, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director and Principal at Churchill Asset Management since January 2020, where Lucas also held the position of Vice President. Prior to this role, Lucas worked at Nuveen from March 2017 to December 2019 as Principal and Associate in Private Equity & Junior Capital, focusing on US middle market private equity transactions. From July 2012 to March 2017 at TIAA, Lucas held roles as Associate in Energy & Infrastructure Investments and as Analyst in the Private Markets rotational program, gaining experience in both direct equity and structured securities investments. Lucas began his career as an Analyst at IronOak Innovations, LLC in 2011. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Sustainability from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as attendance at Charlotte Country Day School.
