Jim Mellett Pe

Jim Mellett, PE has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Jim started their career as an Assistant Field Engineer at Conti Enterprises, Inc. in 2002. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In 2003, they also joined Engineering Design Associates as an Engineering Assistant, where they worked until 2005.

In 2005, Mellett joined Churchill Consulting Engineers and held various roles within the company. Jim started as a Project Engineer and worked in that role until 2015. During this time, they gained experience in overseeing environmental and water resources departments and served as a permitting agent for public agencies. Jim handled various environmental permits and activities, such as NJDEP Flood Hazard Permits, Freshwater Wetlands Permits, NJDEP Coastal Zone Management Permits, and more.

In 2020, Mellett was promoted to Vice President at Churchill Consulting Engineers, where they served until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of President at the company, where they continue to contribute their expertise in environmental permitting and water resources management.

Jim Mellett, PE pursued their education at Rutgers University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from 1998 to 2003. Jim furthered their education at the same institution, earning a Masters of Science degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from 2003 to 2005.
