Amy Kirk

Amy Kirk has extensive experience in payroll, HRIS, and finance roles. Amy currently serves as the Payroll Director at Churchill Downs Incorporated since May 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of LSHRM VP Finance at the Louisville Society for Human Resource Management from July 2016 to December 2017. Amy also worked as the Manager of Payroll & HRIS at Sypris Solutions Inc from August 2013 to May 2017, and as the Manager, HRIS & Payroll at American Commercial Lines from June 2012 to July 2013. Amy has also worked as an HR Manager, Payroll and Compliance at Baptist Hospital East from January 2012 to May 2012, and in various payroll and HRIS roles at American Commercial Lines from May 2006 to March 2011. Amy started their career as a Retail Accounting & Payroll, Sr. Manager at Fazoli's Restaurant Management, LLC from April 1997 to April 2006. Amy's experience also includes working as a Marketing Financial Analyst at Long John Silver's Inc from 1992 to 1997.

Amy Kirk obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Kentucky, where they studied from 1980 to 1984. Amy also holds additional certifications such as SHRM - CP from SHRM in 2015, PHR from HR Certification Institute in 2011, and CPP from the American Payroll Association in 2003. Amy is also certified as a DDI Facilitator by Development Dimensions International, Inc.
